The M/V INDEPENDENCE is a dynamically positioned research vessel primarily operating off the West Coast of the USA.The Assistant Engineer works with the Chief Engineer to ensure the vessel is maintained in a seaworthy, clean and safe manner. The Assistant Engineer maintains all shipboard systems including, but not limited to propulsion, electrical, electronic, fuel, hydraulic, sanitation and potable water systems. The Asst.
