Responsibilities:
Sabre Systems is hiring an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to work in our Lexington Park office. In coordination with the Facility Security Officer (FSO), the AFSO will support all security administrative functions in support of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) functions to include facility security compliance, security questions, visit requests, fingerprinting, and security clearance submissions. The selected candidate will also:
- Support new hire onboarding in accordance with contract requirements, including Common Access Card (CAC) requests, Security Access Authorization Request (SAAR) processing, email setup, and asset requests
- Assist with employee terminations, separations, and security debriefings
- Create and maintain employee personnel security files
- Initiate and process security clearance investigation requests via Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
- Assist employees with completing periodic reinvestigations and Continuous Enrollment (CE) updates
- Process visit authorization requests (VARs) and visit notification letters
- Coordinate with Trusted Agent for all CAC requests and reverifications
- Conduct initial security briefings for newly cleared personnel and exit debriefings for departing employees
- Coordinate and conduct foreign travel briefings and debriefings for cleared personnel
- Maintain current access rosters and need-to-know determinations
In addition, the selected candidate will:
- Support the Insider Threat Program
- Coordinate and conduct all annual security education/training in relation to the NISPOM, customer requirements and company policy
- Conduct classified meetings to ensure all security procedures are being met
- Maintain inventory and classified information stored in classified safe
- Prepare, send and receive classified packages
- Assist in tracking and monitor all classified contracts and DD-254s
- Prepare and participate in DCSA vulnerability assessments
- Perform bi-annual self-inspections as required by Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma is required
- Three (3) years of related experience (full range of security disciplines, i.e. personnel, physical, information systems, etc., and various security concepts, policies, processes and procedures that govern and impact those security functions) is required
- Completed DCSA FSO Certification Course is required for possessing facility
- Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) is required
- Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) experience is required
- Efficient knowledge in:
o DISS
o NISS
o SWFT
o NBIS - Organizational and administrative skills are required
- Oral and written communication skills are required
- Short term travel may be required intermittently
- Support the Office Administrative support team as needed
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a team a player and self-starter
- Must have a current DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
