General Description: The Assistant Coach for Women's Flag Football will assist in all aspects of the program, including coaching, recruiting, player development, and operations. This position is designed for a motivated and energetic individual who is passionate about coaching, mentoring student-athletes, and helping grow one of the nation's fastest-emerging collegiate sports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with daily practice planning, implementation, and on-field instruction. Support player development through film review, skill sessions, and individualized feedback. Assist with scouting, game strategy, and opponent analysis. Help organize travel, equipment, and game-day operations. Play a key role in recruiting prospective student-athletes, including communication, campus visits, and database management. Contribute to maintaining team standards, culture, and academic accountability. Support community engagement, social media promotion, and fundraising initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Department. Position Requirements: A bachelor's degree is desired. Previous playing or coaching experience in flag football, tackle football, or a related sport preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed. Commitment to the mission, values, and standards of William Woods University Athletics. Typical Physical Demands: · Ability to climb several flights of stairs several times each day. · Ability to lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds. · Ability to sit or stand for long periods. · Ability to speak and read English fluently. · Ability to hear. · Ability to travel. · Must possess a valid Missouri driver's license and adhere to the WWU vehicle policy.
