Assistant Flexo Folder Gluer Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Overtime: As needed, including some Saturdays

WFA Staffing is seeking an Assistant Flexo Folder Gluer Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for someone with machine operation, printing, corrugated packaging, or similar manufacturing experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up press equipment, printing, and in-line die cuts accurately according to specifications.
• Monitor box quality, including loose liners, warping, correct sizing, die cutting, and print quality.
• Assist with ink management and color adjustments, including pH and viscosity.
• Inspect print plates and cutting dies before and after production runs to identify needed repairs.
• Monitor machine operation and product quality throughout the production process.
• Work closely with team members to maintain production pace and meet daily goals.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Flexo, printing, corrugated packaging, or folder-gluer experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and keep pace with a fast-moving machine.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
• Must be willing to complete basic math and tape measure testing.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Must be available for overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
