JOB TITLE: Assistant Football Coach ( Defensive Line) REPORTS TO: Head Football Coach and Athletic Director DEPARTMENT: Athletics START DATE: Negotiable CLASSIFICATION: Part Time Staff SALARY: Negotiable General Function: Andrew College is seeking a qualified Assistant Football Coach to administer all areas related to a highly competitive Football program. The successful candidate must adhere to all NAIA protocols and Andrew Colleg e policies. The Assistant Football Coach must understand the dynamics of a small college setting and have the ability to take on several tasks outside the coaching arena towards success for the Athletic Department and Andrew College as a whole. Duties and Responsibilities: - Fulfill the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the Andrew College department of athletics as it pertains to the Football program - Help recruit quality student athletes - Coaching responsibilities that are deemed necessary by the Head Co ach - Maintain high academic standards for student -athletes - Interact and develop healthy relationships with other Andrew College departments - Meet NAIA compliance guidelines and regulations - Strong disciplined skills and consistency with communication and stru cture required - Good driving record with ability to drive Andrew College vans and recruiting vehicles - Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach - Additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree is preferred. H owever, consideration will be given to those candidates with an equivalent combination of education, expe rience, and training. Previous collegiate level coaching experience preferred. Must be authorized for unrestricted employment in the United States indefinitely with no immigration sponsorship needed. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of t his job , you may be required to lift and/or move heavy items. You will also be required to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
