Assistant Football Coach Position - PT

JOB TITLE: Assistant Football Coach REPORTS TO: Head Football Coach and Athletic Director DEPARTMENT: Athletics START DATE: Negotiable CLASSIFICATION: Part Time Staff SALA RY: Negotiable General Function: Andrew College is seeking a qualified Assistant Football Coach to administer all areas related to a highly competitive Football program. The successful candidate must adher e to all NAIA Division I, Southern States Athletic Conference , and Andrew College policies. The Assistant Football Coach must understand the dynamics of a small college setting and ha ve the ability to take on several tasks outside the coaching arena towards success for the Athletic Department and Andrew College as a whole. Duties and Resp onsibilities: - Fulfill the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the Andrew College department of athletics as it pertains to the Football program - Help recruit quality student -athletes - Coaching responsibilities that are deemed necessary by the Head Coach - Maintain high academic standards for student -athletes - Interact and develop healthy relationships with other Andrew College departments - Meet NAIA and SSAC compliance guidelines and regulations - Strong disciplined skills and consistency with communication and structur e required - Good driving record with ability to drive Andrew College vans and recruiting vehicles - Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach - Additional duties as assigned by Athletic Director Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree is preferred - Must be authorized for unrestricted employment in the United States indefinitely with no immigration sponsorship needed Working Conditions: - While performing the duties of this job you may be required to lift and/or move heavy items. You will also be required to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
