We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to join our team, with housing provided as part of the package. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth management of all departments. Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams.
Supervise and manage hospitality teams to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and adherence to service standards.
Implement and monitor hotel management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation platforms to streamline operations.
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial reporting.
Lead human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Maintain hotel guest service standards by overseeing guest relations, handling escalations, and ensuring memorable guest experiences.
Coordinate night audit procedures and oversee phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems to ensure professional communication.
Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, upselling techniques, and optimizing occupancy rates.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while fostering a positive team environment focused on leadership and collaboration.
Experience:
Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management roles.
Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations with a focus on customer service excellence.
Experience managing hospitality budgets, financial operations, and revenue management strategies.
Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and night audit procedures.
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead hospitality teams, manage human resources functions, and maintain high guest service standards.
Excellent managerial communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
