Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations within our senior living community. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering high-quality service.

The AGM will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, enhancing team performance, and maintaining a positive and supportive community culture. This position also requires the ability to step into the General Manager role when needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Team Management & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members. Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Address and resolve resident and customer concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Financial Performance: Assist with budgeting, KPI tracking, and financial reporting; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and security standards are met for residents, staff, and guests.
  • Flexibility: Be available as needed to support operations, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-5 years in a supervisory or management role (senior living or related industry preferred).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to motivate, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to understand, analyze, and report on financials (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and operational systems (POS or industry software).
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
