    Job Description

    The Assistant Manager is responsible for executing the store plan to achieve established standards, sales and profits by staffing, personnel training, operating, and maintaining the store such that guest satisfaction is maximized. The Assistant General Manager reports to the General Manager and Regional Director of Operations.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Control labor costs & food costs
    • Develops appropriate plans to resolve unfavorable trends in controllables, QA, sales and profits
    • Build, motivate, and train a team required to operate store
    • Deliver excellent service to guests

    EXPECTATIONS OF MANAGERS:

    • Business maturity and professionalism necessary to handle pressures of the position
    • Ability to manage a profit and loss statement, control labor costs, food costs and other business related functions
    • Beyond business skills, Managers are required to be team builders
    • You must be able to motivate others, create a stable environment, handle conflict and encourage recognition
    • A good Manager takes care of employees and customers

    REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
