THE ROLE

The Senior Operations Manager oversees all aspects of daily operations across Pick & Cheese, The Bodega, and Bodega Bar, ensuring each concept delivers exceptional guest experiences and meets operational, financial, and service standards. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on leadership — driving excellence through people, systems, and execution.

The ideal candidate is an organized, hospitality-focused leader with strong business acumen, a deep understanding of multi-outlet operations, and a passion for culinary and beverage programs.

This role includes one week of onboarding and training in London, with housing and transportation provided.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations for Pick & Cheese, The Bodega, and Bodega Bar.
  • Lead outlet teams to maintain consistency, efficiency, and excellence in service and product delivery.
  • Partner with kitchen and front-of-house managers to ensure smooth daily execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor quality, cleanliness, and brand presentation across all outlets.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards.

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Manage outlet-level budgets, cost controls, and profitability targets.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory, and COGS for The Bodega and Bodega Bar.
  • Track sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve margins.
  • Support GM-level reporting and P&L analysis in partnership with the Shaver Hall General Manager.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor outlet leaders, fostering accountability, growth, and collaboration.
  • Train team members on brand standards, hospitality practices, and operational systems.
  • Maintain open collaborative communication between outlets and Shaver Food Hall leadership.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for leadership and hourly team.

Guest Experience & Brand Culture

  • Ensure each outlet reflects the distinct brand personality while maintaining the Shaver Food Hall standard of hospitality.
  • Engage regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to support activations, promotions, and seasonal programming.
  • Champion a culture of hospitality, creativity, and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of management experience in multi-outlet or hospitality group settings.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage multiple teams and concepts simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of food, beverages, and retail operations.
  • Experience with inventory systems, POS management, and budget control.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable, hands-on, and calm under pressure.
  • Obtain valid Manager Serv Safe Certification
