Assistant General Manager (AGM)Position SummaryThe Assistant General Manager (AGM) partners with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop team members, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive financial results. The AGM is expected to lead from the front, maintain high standards, and prepare for future advancement into a General Manager role.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryPerformance bonus opportunitiesExcellent food benefitsLeadership development and advancement opportunitiesClosed SundaysClosed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas DayKey ResponsibilitiesOperations LeadershipLead shifts and ensure smooth daily operations.Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns.Maintain Kneaders food quality and presentation standards.Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the café.Execute company promotions, catering programs, and seasonal initiatives.Team LeadershipTrain, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders.Hold employees accountable to performance expectations.Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention.Foster a positive, high-performance culture.Lead by example in attitude, work ethic, and professionalism.Financial PerformanceHelp achieve labor, food cost, and prime cost goals.Assist with inventory, ordering, and waste control.Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.Protect company assets and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.Administrative ResponsibilitiesAssist with scheduling and labor management.Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists.Ensure compliance with all health department and company standards.Communicate effectively with the General Manager and ownership team.Qualifications2+ years of restaurant leadership experience preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to coach and develop others.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and restaurant environment.Career PathThis position is designed to prepare high-performing leaders for promotion to General Manager.
