Opportunity:
Propel Schools is seeking a Assistant Girls' Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this Fall:
Propel Andrew Street High School/Propel Braddock Hills High School
Propel Montour High School
Successful candidates will have:
Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach or assistant coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to support building a successful program starting at the varsity level
Responsibility for supporting the head coach and the development of the program
Experience supporting the Varsity program with the head coach and athletic director
Experience supporting the implementation of off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.
Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.
High level of personal organization and planning
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
Season Information:
The 2026-2027 volleyball season is scheduled to begin on August 17th, 2026 and is anticipated to conclude in November, although the season may end earlier depending on if the team participates in postseason.
This position includes a seasonal stipend of $2,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
