We are seeking an experienced Assistant Head Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of a residential apartment community by performing maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting with daily maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
Complete maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely manner.
Assist with daily maintenance operations and assignments.
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and inventory.
Assist with coordinating and overseeing work performed by outside vendors and contractors, as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide support and direction to other maintenance staff.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the position.
