Assistant Health Services Dining Manager
Broadmead – Cockeysville, MD
Broadmead, a mission-driven Life Plan Community, is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to support operations within our Health Care Unit (HCU). This role ensures a high-quality dining experience for residents while providing leadership to dining staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily HCU dining operations, ensuring excellent service and resident satisfaction
- Lead and supervise HCU servers, including task coordination and shift communication
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation (HACCP), and inspection standards
- Assist with staff training, scheduling adjustments, and performance oversight
- Collaborate with Nursing and Dietitians to meet resident dietary needs
- Oversee operations in the absence of the Dietary Manager
Qualifications
- Dietetic Assistant Certification (required)
- ServSafe Manager Certification (required)
- 1+ year supervisory experience (healthcare or senior living preferred)
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, safety, and sanitation standards
- Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
