About This Role:
Join our veterinary hospital as a full-timeAssistant Manager and become a key leader in our practice! In this dynamic role, you'll partner with our Hospital Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional experience for both clients and their pets.
You'll have diverse responsibilities including staff supervision, financial management, compliance oversight, and operational excellence. When the Hospital Manager is away, you'll take the lead in guiding our team, resolving client concerns, and keeping our hospital running smoothly. - Operational Leadership: You'll help maintain smooth daily operations by optimizing workflow, managing staffing, and ensuring exceptional client service and patient care.

- Proficient with anesthesia monitoring and sedated procedures
- Exceptional animal handling skills with the ability to work safely with pets of all temperaments
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, laboratory techniques, and pharmaceutical calculations

- Detail-oriented approach to patient care and medical record-keeping
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and willingness to assist in various hospital areas as needed
- Exceptional organizational and logistics skills with keen attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
- 3+ years of veterinary supervisory, leadership, or practice management experience
- State veterinary technician licensing (CVT) is preferred but not required
- Deep familiarity with veterinary terminology, routine workflows, and client communication
- Proven track record in team training, workflow scheduling, and staff supervision
- Strong conflict-resolution skills for handling elevated client interactions and staff coaching
- Working knowledge of inventory management, OSHA standards, and AAHA accreditation guidelines
- Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm that inspires others to put forth their best effort
