PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As working supervisor night, establish routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building and grounds operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

High school graduate or GED

Special knowledge/Skills:

Ability to direct, read, write, and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures

Good oral communication skills.

Complete knowledge in techniques for minor building repairs.

Complete knowledge in building and grounds maintenance.

Ability to operate, maintain and lift all custodial cleaning equipment.

Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies

Ability to supervise and train custodians in equipment operations, building and grounds maintenance procedures

Minimum Experience:

One (1) year experience in custodial, building and grounds maintenance or equivalent.
