Since 1981, we have provided expertise in economics, finance, health care analytics, and strategy to top law firms, Fortune Global 500 companies, and government agencies worldwide.Assistant Legal Counsel provides thoughtful legal advice and support to Analysis Group's consultants and internal administrative teams in support of day‑to‑day business operations. The position handles a diverse range of in‑house legal matters, with a focus on contracts, and assists in risk management on a firm‑wide basis.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts with clients and vendors, including engagement letters, IT vendor agreements, consulting agreements, data license agreements, confidentiality agreements, statements of work, and office contracts. Analyze contract terms to identify and mitigate risks and collaborate with consulting and administrative teams regarding contractual obligations.General In‑House Advice: Provide practical legal advice to consulting and administrative staff on a diverse range of topics. Conduct legal research and collaborate with legal team colleagues on long‑term projects pertaining to legal subject areas that are priorities for the firm.Risk Management: Assist in risk management on a firm‑wide basis. Work on improvement of certain business processes with an eye for increasing efficiency and reducing risk to the firm.Qualifications JD required.Minimum of four years of legal experience required.Ideal candidate will have five to eight years of substantive relevant experience.A combination of law firm and in‑house experience is preferred.Prior experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts preferred.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Excellent judgment and ability to tailor advice to circumstances at hand.Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.Excellent attention to detail.Experience with litigation support, AI vendors, pharmaceutical research, and/or data privacy matters a plus.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Willingness to learn.Enjoys contributing to a collaborative team environment.Inclusive and growth‑oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work across differences.To the extent permitted by applicable law, eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or restriction, now and in the future.Equal Opportunity Statement Analysis Group embraces equal opportunity.
