The position is a 12-month, tenure-track Assistant Librarian: Digital Processing Archivist at IU Northwest Library, reporting to the Executive Director of Library Services.
Responsibilities include
- leading archival processing and digital stewardship projects
- developing and maintaining finding aids and workflows
- overseeing digitization and digital systems for access and preservation
- managing backlog reduction, legal and rights considerations
- collaborating with staff and faculty for strategic and digital initiatives
- supervising students and interns
Qualifications include - an MLIS from an ALA-accredited program
- archival and digitization experience
- strong collaboration and technical skills
- preferred knowledge of local history and emerging standards.
