Assistant Location Manager | $33 $40/hour | Hastings, NE | Full-Time

Step into a leadership role where you can make an impact on daily operations, team success, and customer satisfaction!

We re hiring an Assistant Location Manager in Hastings, NE to support grain and agronomy operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, operational knowledge and a drive to improve efficiency while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Schedule:
Monday Friday | 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM
Additional hours as needed, including early mornings, evenings, on-call for trains and overtime during peak seasons

What You ll Do:

  • Assist in managing daily grain, agronomy, feed and energy operations

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies

  • Monitor inventory quality and complete weekly reporting

  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs

  • Train and support team members while helping lead daily operations

  • Maintain records, reports and documentation using internal systems

  • Communicate policies, procedures and operations to staff and customers

  • Identify operational improvements and report issues to management

  • Help maintain a clean, safe and organized facility

What You Bring:

  • Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office and related systems)

  • Strong organization, planning and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Valid driver s license required (Class A CDL preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Lift, push, or pull up to 85 pounds as needed

  • Comfortable working around machinery, heights and environmental elements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending and climbing
