We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented maintenance professional to support the upkeep, repair, and smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will work alongside maintenance and operations teams to help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of building systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Support preventive maintenance activities to help reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Perform basic repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep as assigned.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Inspect work areas, equipment, and facilities to identify issues or potential safety concerns.
- Help maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance records in an organized manner.
- Follow safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs and progress.
- Support special projects, installations, and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, work orders, and safety guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including standing, lifting, bending, and moving equipment or materials as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
- Basic computer skills for documentation or work order systems.
