Assistant Maintenance Technician (Non-Certified) - Property Management

Location: Dallas, TX 75223

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Pay: $20/hour

We are seeking a dependable Assistant Maintenance Technician (Non-Certified) to join a busy apartment community. This position is ideal for someone with apartment maintenance experience who can assist with daily work orders, make readies, and general property upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Complete routine maintenance work orders.
• Assist with make-ready units.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Help maintain the grounds and common areas.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance repairs.
• Experience with appliances is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work both indoors and outdoors.
• HVAC certification is not required.
