Job Description
Dominos Pizza is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 544 W Jefferson St location in Springfield, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Manage and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service and productivity
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and friendly manner
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain appropriate stock levels
Assist in training and developing new team members
Run shifts efficiently, including delegating tasks and managing employee schedules
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement marketing strategies and achieve sales goals
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist in food preparation and delivery as needed
Qualifications
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Strong math and problem-solving skills for effective money management and inventory control
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in store operations management and employee scheduling
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills for managing orders and inventory systems
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience in food service or retail management (preferred)
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices (preferred)

Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 30 people. You will need to use your stellar attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid drivers license
