Job Description

Dominos Pizza is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3100 West Iles Ave. location in Springfield, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Manage and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards
• Run shifts efficiently, ensuring timely order preparation and delivery
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Participate in hands-on tasks such as answering phones, taking orders, and cleaning
• Contribute to a positive work environment and team morale
• Assist in implementing company policies and procedures
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or retail industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management
• Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Food safety certification (preferred)
