ABOUT THE ROLE
The Transactions team at Welltower is a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative accounting group focused on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and other strategic investments. Unlike traditional accounting roles, this position offers broad exposure to non-routine high-impact transactions and close partnership with teams across the organization.
This role is primarily responsible for preparing and reviewing transaction-related journal entries, preparing and reviewing technical accounting memos, coordinating transaction execution with internal and external stakeholders, and mentoring staff and senior accountants on the team. The role plays a critical role in ensuring accurate accounting treatment and seamless transaction execution in a rapidly evolving environment.
