As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll partner with the Restaurant General Manager to lead the team, deliver a great guest experience, and help drive strong restaurant operations. You'll be hands-on in the restaurant — coaching team members, running shifts, supporting scheduling and food preparation, maintaining standards, and helping your team succeed.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth restaurant performance
- Lead shifts and supervise food preparation and restaurant activities
- Deliver excellent guest service and resolve any concerns promptly
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
- Train, coach, and develop enthusiastic team members
- Create and adjust team schedules based on restaurant needs
- Manage food and inventory efficiently while following Popeyes procedures
- Work hands-on across multiple restaurant stations as needed
- Foster a positive, engaging environment for team members and guests
- Demonstrate integrity and uphold the culture of Popeyes and SBH Foods
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 18 years old with preferred leadership experience in restaurant, food service, retail, or hospitality
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills
- Ability to make decisions and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Passion for coaching and motivating team members
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work various stations
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to meeting training and certification requirements

Assistant Restaurant Managers are eligible for SBH Foods' store performance bonus program, with opportunities to earn additional compensation every four weeks based on qualifying restaurant performance. Assistant Restaurant Managers at designated Training Stores are eligible for an enhanced store bonus in recognition of the additional responsibility of helping develop SBH Foods leaders.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform physical restaurant responsibilities as needed
- Work across restaurant stations and support food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest service
- Safely perform the physical tasks necessary to support restaurant operations
