The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the drive-in during assigned shifts, reporting to the General Manager or Operating Partner.
They are responsible for training, managing, coaching, and leading employees to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
Key duties include managing staffing, performing opening and closing tasks, handling guest and employee concerns, monitoring inventory and costs, and maintaining compliance with policies and legal requirements.
They perform various station duties, ensure sanitation standards, and maintain regular attendance.
Additional responsibilities involve moving and stocking food products and performing other related tasks.
Work hours are at least 30 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications include at least six months of restaurant management or one year of retail management experience, knowledge of relevant laws, and strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Work environment involves continuous physical activity, exposure to heat, cold, and variable weather conditions.
