The Role

We are seeking hard-working, outgoing, and energetic management professionals who are passionate about restaurant operations and team development. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in supporting our General Manager to deliver exceptional service and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for dedicated individuals who care deeply about their team members and their work.

Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

·      Supervise all front-of-house and kitchen staff and support General Manager in hiring, training, and scheduling

·      Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address performance and behavioral issues according to company policy

·      Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment

Operations:

·      Oversee daily restaurant operations—opening, closing, and shift-to-shift execution

·      Use store management systems to track inventory, sales, and performance metrics

·      Manage workflow to maintain speed of service and quality standards

·      Ensure compliance with all health, food safety, regulatory, and brand requirements and prepare store for inspections

·      Place and receive inventory orders in coordination with the General Manager

·      Monitor and solve operational problems in real-time

Financial Management:

·      Manage labor costs against sales and conduct inventory counts and address variances on cost of goods sold

·      Maintain adherence to cash control procedures, reconcile daily cash drawers and deposits, and ensure secure credit card processing

Sales & Guest Experience:

·      Encourage team members to delight guests with efficient and personable service that goes above and beyond, while modeling this approach in your own customer

interactions

·      Handle guest concerns and questions

 

Basic Qualifications

The following requirements must be met to qualify for this position:

·       At least 18 years of age

·       Reliable transportation

·       High school diploma or GED

·       Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience in a fast-food environment

·       Food safety knowledge and commitment to health and sanitation standards

 

Skills & Competencies Required

Candidates should demonstrate:

·       Customer service mindset and genuine care for guest experience

·       Strong team development with capability to train and coach staff

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Strong operational execution and attention to detail

·       Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, basic math skills, and basic computer skills

·       Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment

·       Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Physical & Work Demands

The position requires 50+ hours per week including mornings/evenings, weekends, and holidays. It requires standing, walking, and moving for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be prepared to jump into operational work (food prep, other crew duties) when needed.
