Assistant Manager – Jersey Mike’s Subs

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who brings positivity, accountability, and leadership to the table. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to grow, lead a team, and run a high-performing, people-first restaurant.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll work side-by-side with the General Manager to lead daily operations and build a strong, motivated team.

Your impact will include:

  • Leading and motivating a team of 15 employees
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience every shift
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, high-energy store environment
  • Running daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and shift leadership
  • Creating schedules, placing inventory orders, and managing labor efficiently
  • Training, coaching, and developing team members
  • Ensuring all systems and procedures are followed with 100% integrity
  • Stepping in to run the store in the General Manager’s absence
  • Preparing food to brand standards, including slicing and baking bread

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old (required for slicer operation)
  • Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week
  • 1+ year of restaurant or QSR experience preferred
  • Food Handler / ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)
