This position is based in Lake Orion, Michigan, supporting General Motors operations. The facility provides warehouse services including pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and material flow support for critical production operations.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, sequencing, pick and pack, and material flow activities.
- \n
- Support staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to ensure customer and operational requirements are met.
- \n
- Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safety performance metrics.
- \n
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly team members to drive operational excellence.
- \n
- Partner with General Motors representatives to maintain service levels and support production needs.
- \n
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.
- \n
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- \n
- 3+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced production environment.
- \n
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team development skills with the ability to analyze operational data and drive business results.
- \n
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- \n
- Experience supporting automotive operations, including knowledge of sequencing, JIT, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and working with OEM customers such as General Motors, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
