Pay range: $26.50-$29.00
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30-5:00 pm with the flexibility to work other days/hours occasionally as needed.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Donations Manager, the Donations Assistant Manager will provide support in Trucking, Deconstruction, and Procurement. This position will work closely with the Donations Manager to ensure that the ReStores are fully stocked with saleable items, with an emphasis on ensuring day to day operations run smoothly.
KNOW HOW:
Committed to the mission of AAHH, the incumbent will have managerial, administrative, and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to constantly changing daily requirements. Computer literacy, attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused and organized are required for the Donations Assistant Manager to successfully support the Dept. Manager.
To be successful in this role, the applicant must be highly organized and able to coordinate multiple moving parts simultaneously, including truck schedules, staff and volunteer coverage, donor pickups, and inventory flow between ReStore locations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support, coach, and communicate with employees, volunteers, donors, and community members while maintaining a positive customer service mindset. Additionally, the applicant must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound operational decisions in a fast-paced environment where priorities and daily schedules can change quickly.
