Position Title: Assistant Manager Materials
Help manage Materials department to achieve on time customer delivery performance and plant KPI’s.
Assist Materials Manager to ensure that the daily activities of the Materials department meet plant schedule and customer shipping requirements.
May supervise Materials Planning staff.
Assist Materials Manager in achieving all department KPI goals.
Assist Materials Manager in achieving inventory goals for Roh1, 2, 3 and Roh1 in transit.
Manage special projects under Materials Manager supervision, including MRO and Packaging.
Continue to manage the assigned supply base daily, including purchase orders and invoice match.
Follow agreed upon development path with regard to succession planning.
Involvement in new launch planning as required by Materials Manager.
Support Planners in resolving issues that cannot be handled independently.
Minimize and monitor obsolete inventory resulting from Program Build-out and Engineering Changes.
Review and take action on any parts shortage issues within the 2-Week firm production schedule.
Work Experience
Five years experience at automotive tier 1 supplier preferred
Education
Completed college degree; bachelor degree or higher
SAP knowledge preferred

Knowledge of SAP
Self-motivates, excellent analytical skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Must work well with limited supervision
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of math concepts

Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE). Special emphasis on MS Excel
Korean-English bilingual capability is preferred.
