Big Fish is seeking an energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations in our high-volume, food-first waterfront restaurant featuring live music, sports watch parties, and a large indoor/outdoor bar environment. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality instincts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. The position is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and will start in late June 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Lead and support front-of-house staff during service.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage labor, scheduling, and floor execution.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.
- Work closely with ownership and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
