Assistant Manager - Optometry Practice

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a well-established private optometry practice. This is a full time direct hire position with benefits.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily patient flow and front office operations
• Support and guide front desk, technicians, and optical staff
• Handle scheduling, inventory, and administrative processes
• Assist with insurance verification, billing follow-up, and reporting
• Jump in where needed across clinical, administrative, and retail functions
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient practice environment

What They’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in optometry, medical office, or optical retail
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with EHR systems (RevolutionEHR, OfficeMate, etc.)
• Leadership or team lead experience is a plus

Why This Role:

• $50,000–$65,000 salary
