What You"ll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you"ll partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations while building a positive, high-performing team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Helping lead all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Coaching, developing, and motivating team members through positive leadership
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
• Leading shifts while maintaining Jersey Mike"s standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
• Monitoring labor, productivity, and food quality throughout each shift
• Assisting with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards
• Handling customer concerns professionally and creating positive resolutions
• Supporting scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals
• Opening and closing the restaurant as needed
• Leading by example and fostering a positive, accountable, team-first culture

What We"re Looking For

• Have previous restaurant management, shift leadership, or supervisory experience
• Enjoy coaching, mentoring, and developing others
• Lead with integrity, accountability, and a positive attitude
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Take ownership of results and continuously look for ways to improve
• Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example
• Are dependable, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally

Restaurant management experience is preferred, but we welcome strong Shift Leaders who are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment preferred
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must meet applicable age requirements for operating certain equipment, including slicer equipment, where required by state or local regulations
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable
