Job Summary


The Northstar PSS Leader is responsible for leading a Product Sales & Services (PSS) team and executing the PSS strategy through operational excellence, workforce management, and standardized service delivery.


This role reports directly to the In-Resort PSS Leader and is a key member of the in-resort PSS leadership team. The PSS location leader is accountable for delivering an _Experience of a Lifetime_ for both employees and guests, which supports Vail Resorts’ overall growth and profitability.


In this role, the PSS location leader focuses on hiring, scheduling, onboarding, training, performance management, employee development, labor optimization, daily operations, and guest service recovery.


The position requires regular collaboration with the PSS Resort Leader and cross-functional partners to drive continuous improvement and successful execution of the in-resort strategy.


Job Specifications:


+ Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $30.15/hr

Job Responsibilites:


+ Execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for in-resort guest service delivery, including people, processes, and technology

+ Foster a customer-focused culture that delivers an exceptional guest experience throughout the entire guest journey

+ Develop and implement processes and reporting tools to evaluate and optimize service delivery and quality

+ Act as a consultative partner to resort leaders and line-of-business partners (e.g., Ski School, Scanning) through strong communication and collaboration

+ Monitor labor and service trends to identify opportunities for improvement, increase quality, and reduce operating expenses

+ Build and maintain a high-performing team focused on results, guest service, and leadership development

+ Support a strong guest services culture through collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams

+ Develop talent through succession planning and growth opportunities for high-potential employees

+ Willing and able to work across multiple locations and service areas, demonstrating versatility and actively developing knowledgeand proficiency across all products and services within the department.

Job Requirements:


+ 3–5 years of relevant experience

+ 1–2 years of leadership experience managing teams

+ Ability to translate strategic vision into practical execution plans

+ Demonstrated sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $30.15/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
