Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager addresses patrons' needs, oversees all theatre operations, successfully leads team members to provide an excellent experience for our patrons, and administers all company policies and procedures.

Duties:

1. Provides excellent customer service and remains attentive to patrons' needs.

2. Manages daily activities of the theatre and staff to ensure an excellent experience for our patrons.

3. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards and report or resolve any operational issues.

4. Support with inventory, ordering, and stocking.

5. Conduct opening/closing duties, cash handling, and deposits.

6. Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day duties of staff.

7. Assist patrons with questions or complaints. 

8. May hire and train new staff or assist the General Manager with those duties.

9. Performs other related duties as required.

Malco Theatres is a movie theatre chain that has remained family owned and operated for over one hundred years. It has been led by four generations. Malco has 33 theatre locations with over 345 screens in six states (including Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee). Malco also operates two bowling and family entertainment centers in southern Louisiana and a bowling family entertainment center in Oxford, MS, under the brand, Premier Lanes.
