Position Overview:

A SONIC Drive-In Assistant Manager helps oversee the daily operations of the restaurant by supervising employees and supporting the General Manager in running efficient shifts. This role is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards, and supporting team development through training and coaching. The Assistant Manager also helps manage inventory, cash procedures, scheduling, and store performance goals while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations. This position plays an important role in creating a positive guest experience and supporting a productive work environment.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, supervise, manage, direct, and develop staff.
  • Ensure guests receive a positive experience and encourage repeat business.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members.
  • Oversee food, paper, labor, and guest service operations.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
  • Enforce federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Handle customer concerns and support excellent customer service.
  • Create and maintain a positive, motivating work environment.

 

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management in fast food required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • High standards for self and team performance.
  • Positive attitude, especially during rushes or stressful situations.
  • Ability to use different problem-solving approaches.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally and personally.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks effectively.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
