The Assistant Men's Golf Coach is responsible for providing assistance to the Head Coach in assigned areas of the intercollegiate Men's Golf program.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Ability to organize and administer all phases of a NCAA Division I Men's Golf program. Ability to evaluate and recruit, qualified student athletes to the University of Georgia whose athletic and personal skills make them highly competitive in the SEC and nationally, and whose academic potential makes them good candidates for a meaningful academic experience and graduation at the University of Georgia. Comprehend and adhere to NCAA, SEC and institutional policies and procedures in the sport of Men's Golf. Ability to manage a budget. Participate and support public relations, fundraising and promotional activities. Possess strong organizational skills in coordinating recruiting travel and visit itineraries.
Physical Demands: Stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions. Driving as needed to perform job tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities: Evaluate, scout and recruit qualified student-athletes in the sport of Men's Golf whose athletic skills make them highly competitive in the SEC and nationally, and whose academic potential makes them good candidates for a meaningful academic experience and graduation at UGA. Assist the Head Golf Coach with the coaching of highly skilled intercollegiate golfers. Organize and conduct practices and competitions. Order and distribute equipment and apparel to student-athletes. Assist in the organization of Fundraising and Promotion activities. Other duties as assigned by the Men's Golf Head Coach.
