Job TitleMEP SuperintendentJob DescriptionPosition ResponsibilitiesSupport and oversee MEP installation activities for a hyperscale data centre tenant fit-out project.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.Manage and maintain project schedules, sequencing and two-week look-ahead plans.Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with project requirements, drawings and specifications.Drive quality control initiatives and proactively address field issues before they impact schedule or cost.Lead coordination meetings with trade partners and project stakeholders.Review drawings, submittals and RFIs to ensure successful project execution.Monitor site logistics, material deliveries and workforce planning.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.Assist in establishing operational processes and best practices as the data centre division grows.Build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal leadership teams.Support project closeout activities including punch lists, commissioning and turnover documentation.The Successful ApplicantExperience as an MEP Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or MEP-focused field leader.Data centre construction experience is highly preferred.Candidates from MEP subcontractors with data centre experience will be strongly considered.Strong MEP leaders from general contractors without data centre experience are also encouraged to apply.Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage field operations.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.Experience managing schedules, logistics and subcontractor performance.Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.OSHA certification or willingness to obtain required safety credentials.Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.Ability to work full-time on-site in Gainesville, VAWhat's on OfferWhy Someone Would Want to ApplyBe one of the first hires in a newly established Data Center Division with substantial long-term growth potential.Gain direct access to senior leadership and contribute strategic input that will shape future projects.Work in a highly autonomous environment where your contributions are visible and impactful.Learn from an executive leadership team with a proven track record of building and scaling successful construction organisations.Join a company that offers strong benefits, a collaborative culture and clear opportunities for advancement as the business continues to grow.Compensation & BenefitsBase salary up to $130,000$750/month vehicle allowance100% employer-paid individual medical and dental coverage401(k) with company matchLong-term career progression within a rapidly growing businessProject HighlightsHyperscale Data Center Tenant Fit-OutGainesville, VirginiaStrategic, high-visibility project serving as the foundation for the company's future data centre portfolioJob SummarySector: ConstructionSub Sector: Site ManagerIndustry: PropertyLocation: GainesvilleContract Type: PermanentConsultant Name: Victoria GradyJob Reference: JN-072026-7072640
