Key Objectives

Support nursing staff in providing exceptional patient care.
Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and basic health needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment to promote patient well-being.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly.
Support nurses in administering treatments and medications as directed.
Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Help transport patients safely within the hospital as needed.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
Follow infection control protocols and hospital policies at all times.
Document care activities accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a nursing assistant program preferred.
Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent is a plus.
Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and perform routine tasks.
