Summary:

Reports to Nurse Manager of a designated critical care department and is responsible for assisting with planning, administering and evaluating twenty-four hour operation of one or more nursing units. In doing so, is assigned duties based on patients' needs, staffing availability, etc. Attends patient rounds with physicians, answers questions regarding patients' condition, receives physicians' orders and notes patients' charts. Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records.

• Associate ASN or BSN

Education specialization:

Essential:

• in a Nursing Program from an Accredited School of Nursing

Experience:

Essential:

• Three to Five Years RN experience

Credentials:

Essential:

• Registered Nurse-LIC
• Basic Life Support and ACLS cards
