Assistant Nurse Manager – NICU – Los Angeles County, CA
Schedule: Full-time, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM shift
Opportunity Highlights
• Leadership role in a Level III or higher NICU
• Support day-to-day operations, staff oversight, and patient safety
• Work collaboratively across units to ensure high-quality neonatal care
• Reports to Department Manager; leads clinical team in delivering safe, effective care
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee staffing, patient flow, resource use, and compliance
• Support professional development, team engagement, and mentoring
• Monitor performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in survey readiness and emergency preparedness
Minimum Qualifications
• CA RN license, BLS, NRP (required)
• RNC-NIC (within 6 months of hire)
• BSN or MSN
• At least 2 years of NICU RN experience in Level III+ unit
• At least 1 year of formal RN leadership (e.g., ANM, Supervisor, Coordinator)
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $180,000 – $200,000
• Annual bonus up to 10% of salary (performance-based)
