The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is ranked among the top 5 in NIH research funding. We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level (non-tenure track) to join our dynamic team and serve in our vibrant community-based academic radiation oncology practice at the Central Maryland Radiation Oncology Center (CMRO) in Columbia, MD. CMRO is a partnership between University of Maryland Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Salary Information:
The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the Radiation Oncology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in Radiation Oncology variable compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department.
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate''s geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

About the Department:
The Department of Radiation Oncology offers exceptional patient care across eight locations, including the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Maryland Proton Treatment Center. Our department''s clinical program includes 14 linear accelerators, a research linear accelerator, 6 multi-slice CT simulators, a proton therapy center, and GammaPod, alongside a variety of advanced treatments such as SRS/SBRT, radiopharmaceuticals, and hyperthermia therapy.
