Charles County Governments Recreation, Parks and Tourism Department - Parks Division is seeking a dynamic Assistant Park Manager with daily park operations and maintenance at designated Park facilities. This position supervises and leads part time staff in the performance of park maintenance and athletic field preparation.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED). Four (4) years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Licenses or Certifications:
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Special Requirements/Qualifications:
Subject to work beyond the normal scheduled hours of work.
Subject to call back in emergencies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is regularly active with periods of heavy exertion. The hiring salary range for this position is $55,823.32 - $73,128.32 annually, commensurate with experience. Salary will be determined for the selected candidate based on related experience and other factors. Internal candidates selected for this position will receive a salary according to the county's promotional pay increase policy. What types of grounds maintenance equipment can you operate? Please detail your experience with operating heavy equipment including trucks, trailers, tractors, etc. Also, detail your experience with grounds maintenance equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, etc.
