Responsibilities

  • Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations and production schedules.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and resolve any issues.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train and mentor staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure adequate supplies are available for production.
  • Prepare reports on production metrics and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Participate in planning and executing maintenance schedules for equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with production management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
