Assistant Plant Superintendent

Primary Responsibilities:

The Plant Superintendent Assistant will help with all production activities within the facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing performance. This role helps to ensure product quality and strong alignment with company goals.

Specific Assistant Duties:

•Assist all plant production to achieve operational targets.
•Ensure a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety policies, training, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
•Help manage production schedules and material flow to meet customer and project requirements.
•Help with initiatives focused on reducing downtime and optimizing processes.
•Collaborate with leadership to resolve production issues and support organizational goals.
•Support training, coaching, and development of plant personnel to build strong, capable teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•Production management experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, industrial processing, or similar plant environments.
•Background in supervising production teams, managing workflows.
•Ability to optimize processes and achieve operational performance targets.
•Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality to support reliable and efficient plant operations.
•Possess strong computer skills and proficiency with relevant software programs.
• Adapt quickly to sudden changes in workflow.
