Location: Hattie Mae White \n \nDepartment: Virtual Launchpad \n \nArea:District Wide \n \nContract Months:12 \n \nSalary Range: $90,000.00 \u2013 $140,000.00 \n \nAcademic Year: 25-26 \n \nPOSITION SUMMARY\n \nProvide instructional and operational leadership for the Virtual Launch Pad Program to ensure high-quality virtual learning experiences for high school students. Supports rigorous synchronous and asynchronous instruction, supervises staff, and promotes student success within designated courses, including CTE pathways. Oversees daily program operations, monitors student progress, and coordinates services to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring specialized support. Collaborates with program leadership to maintain an effective virtual learning environment aligned to the goals of the Virtual Launch Pad Program.\n \nILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES\n \n1. Ensure high-quality instruction in all synchronous and asynchronous Virtual Launch Pad courses.\n \n2. Assist the Cross-functional Team Member (CTM) with coordinating course offerings, teacher assignments, and instructional minutes.\n \n3. Assist the Cross-functional Team Member (CTM) with overseeing the student schedule to ensure accurate placement in synchronous/asynchronous courses aligned with graduation needs. \n \n4. Supervise and coach staff to strengthen instructional effectiveness and consistency.\n \n5. Monitor student engagement, attendance, and academic progress using data and lead interventions.\n \n6. Coordinate services for special populations, ensuring compliance, supporting teachers with accommodations, and overseeing targeted interventions for students who require specialized support. \n \nILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES CONTINUED\n \n7. Support the Cross-functional Team Member (CTM) with program goals, policy implementation, and overall program operations.\n \n8. Manage daily virtual operations, including schedules, live sessions, and instructional flow.\n \n9. Oversee asynchronous course quality by reviewing pacing, clarity, and teacher communication.\n \n10. Address student behavior and discipline using restorative practices and digital citizenship expectations.\n \n11. Lead staff professional development in virtual instruction and technology tools.\n \n12. Communication regularly with families through meetings and program updates.\n \n13. Work with IT and digital learning teams to support platforms, tools, and troubleshooting,\n \n14. Ensure implementation, program fidelity, and quality assurance of Learning Management Systems and asynchronous instructional platforms (e.g., Canvas), including course pacing, credit alignment, and testing readiness.\n \n15. Develop and oversee virtual student intervention systems, including academic support, counseling coordination, credit recovery monitoring, and escalation protocols for students who are at risk of disengagement.\n \n16. Support phased expansion of grade levels and course offerings by coordinating staffing, scheduling, and operational readiness as enrollment scales.\n \n17.
