Description The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Atmospheric Sciences (CPAS) at Jackson State University in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology invites candidates to apply for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in experimental inorganic/medicinal chemistry. This position includes, but is not limited to organic synthesis, organic reaction development, natural products, physical organic chemistry, biochemistry, and medicinal chemistry. Examples of Duties

Successful candidates are expected to establish and sustain a vibrant research program funded externally, serve as effective teachers and mentors at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide service to the department, the university and the profession.

Applicants must have a promising research agenda, and a strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate student education and success.
