The Department of Pathology, College of Graduate Studies invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology. The successful candidate will participate in team-taught Pathology courses within our medical and health professions programs and will be expected to establish an independent research program. Applicants with demonstrated teaching expertise will be prioritized. Review of applications will begin immediately and will close when the position is filled.
Qualifications are MD or DO with a completion of a pathology residency or a PhD with at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience with demonstrated expertise in Pathology. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Chair and be responsible for assigned lectures in the School of Medicine Pathology courses as well as the Dental/Optometry basic science courses. Service to university committees, etc., is also expected. Tenure track candidates will pursue research and academic promotion according to university guidelines.
