### Position Summary
Primary responsibilities will include a combination of the following
- Teaching CSD courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Outreach activities supporting the clinical training and clinical placement efforts for CSD Master's degree students. Outreach-related research may be part of these efforts.
- Academic advising of graduate students.
- Service to the CSD department, College of Communication Arts and Sciences, and MSU.
- Other activities that support the overall education mission of the CSD department as assigned by the chair of the department.

### Required Degree
Doctorate -Ph.D. in communicative sciences and disorders or a terminal degree in a related discipline (e.g., education, linguistics, neuroscience, psychology, etc.)
### Minimum Requirements
- Ph.D. in communicative sciences and disorders or a terminal degree in a related discipline (e.g., education, linguistics, neuroscience, psychology, etc.)
- Evidence of a broad professional network at the local and state level for growing our clinical outreach and supervisor base.
- Knowledge of best practices in clinical education and supervision with a vision for further strengthening student training in the department.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Michigan.
- Minimum of five years of current clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist (SLP).
### Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in the use of common office and communication software (e.g., Microsoft Office applications) and the web-based application CALIPSO.
- Prior experience teaching CSD content.
- Strong working knowledge of professional certification requirements for SLPs.
- Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
